Tim's Birthday Party

or rather Tim's "Birthday" party. What do you all think about his lark? From a strategic point of view with his fellow HMs, it seems very risky. He could have made people angry for any one of several reasons -- lying to them, making them look foolish (with the makeup and outfits, buying his lie, or doing his bidding), getting special privileges for the day, making it The Tim Show and not thinking of how this might impact others (mostly Tully, because, let's face it, it's The Tully Show, and everything is about her.)

He did succeed in making Friday's episode mostly about his party, though, and from a strategic point of view with the viewers, it may have been clever. I thought he and Drew looked fun (though I concede I always do). Mikkayla was up for giving Tim a ride around the garden -- maybe this got her some votes and helped save one of his allies/friends. Caleb looked like a whiny tool IMO, upset that attention wasn't on him and his interesting... well, let's see... he lifts weights.

I hope viewers keep the more interesting and fun HMs in.

I think Tim can get away with the fake birthday since it was in the interests of having some fun, even though there was no payoff. I don't think it will change opinions of him (good and bad) in the house.

When the public decides you don't have to suck up to the other HMs as much compared to the American version.

On the official website the poll of the day is: Was Tim's joke cruel or genius?

So far, 86% said Amazing and hilarious and 14% said Way harsh

I think you're right, Lwize. The party might later be used as an example of what people like or dislike about Tim, but it'll probably just be reinforcing opinions people already had. It was an out-there move, but because he's such an out-there guy anyway it probably won't change HMs' perceptions of him.
