Lauren just can't help lying!

There is a vid confirming that she hadn't, and still hasn't, got a clue about antique values, it was all a con instigated by his/her father!

The whole child prodigy thing was made up.

It's her parents who have been behind all this.

They are, as has been said, a family of scammers.

Didn't her dad end up going down for fraud or some such? And she had to sell a bunch of her antiques to pay his legal fees?

Everyone in their family bought fake degrees

He set fire to their Fancy dress company's shop and tried to get about £384K from the Insurance company, he got Five and a half years instead, and the "child prodigy" went on Wogan's show begging for donations to pay for a lawyer and a Barrister!

The antiques were a con, but Lauren was a child prodigy. It just never had chance to develop into something useful.

I suppose that might have been the case. I don't know enough about it really, other than having seen the interviews at the time, just what I've googled.
