To me.. This looks quite scary!

'The Strangers' really freaked me out because of the masks and ambiguity of the whole story.. And the fact this isn't some teen film and it involves a whole family! Ahh

**** because it's an 18 and I'm not 18 for another 4 months. :nono:

Yeah this looks really good

It isn't really scary to be honest with you but it is good, I went to see it last night and it's really, really good though. I can't say much without ruining it but it gripped me and left me guessing all the way through.

Really, REALLY good death scenes too, deserves its 18 - I'm just lucky the cinema we go to doesnt really care enough to check for ID, they just want money lol

Oh only if this was on YT we could play it in Plug and all watch it together like we did with Misery. :(

..The Strangers freaked me out as well, it's so much more frightening when people wear masks because then there's no emotion at all, which is really disturbing with the things they did..

Mobiles phones existing have completely ruined horror films. "****ing phone the police" was all I was thinking for 2 minutes.

I suppose if the film starts with "Oh snap I have no signal out here" Then it will be good.

It's explained as to why they have no mobile signal in the movie to be fair, that 'no signal' stuff irritates me in horror too but it is fairly explained and believable in this

god the horror genre is so crap right now

I wouldn't say that Roy, I'd say it's getting stronger lately especially with the long overdue death of the Saw series. Evil Dead and The Conjuring spring to mind when it comes to good recent Horror films.

Good recent horrors imo

I agree the Saw series ending was a good thing for the genre, the first 2 were ok the rest sucked
