Anyone else finding it strangely hard to watch this series?
 

I love BB and have done since first ever episode back in 2000.

For some reason, i'm struggling with this CBB series but not sure why.

Is it the fact it's just too near BB14 (which was superb) and we need a breather?

Maybe it's the fact the house is the same as BB14 so it feels less unique to this series of CBB.

Or is it the housemates themselves? Surely not.

For some reason i am struggling to get through the episodes when usually i love it. I can't exactly work out why.

Anyone else feel the same?

I'm quite enjoying it but for me it came too quickly after BB so there was no build up to it at all and I think that's what I missed.

Yes - I do too. It's nothing I can put my finger on - but the sizzle isn't there...I was a bit like it towards the end of BB14 - I didn't have a favourite, only had people I did not want to win. I think this CBB might not have the kind of people I like to watch - can't think of any other reason...

disagree - loving it - great intersting bunch and not at all boringgggggggggggggggggggg.

I feel the same, I didn't feel like this about CBB this time last year but I was on holiday for the final two weeks of BB13 so maybe that made the difference. Dunno. It feels like same old same old at the moment.

I'm enjoying it, but I understand you. It would feel fresher if we had a break, just like the winter series feel like, because they are on 3 months after, so we get a break. CBB10 and CBB12 both feel like we have had an overload of BB. But I am still enjoying it.

I really wish they have a longer break between the two tbh

There are some interesting characters in there like Carol,Ron,Charlotte,Louie,Lauren,Mario but the rest seem a strange clueless bunch with no personality and for Celebs this is bad.

Still it usually hots up after a week so I'll keep watching in the meantime.....

I never really enjoy CBB as much as BB but I'm finding this series watchable, I'm thinking moreso because I find Lauren great viewing, I do wonder if Lauren & Louie were to go though I'm not so sure I would be watching as none of the others really interest me, I'm just kinda tolerating the rest, Bruce seems ok though but its still early days

I agree we need a longer break between BB and CBB. Also, the housemates aren't really up to much. Where are the big characters? I've already missed a couple of episodes of CBB and that never normally happens.

I can't get into it either, even though these hm's are great.....

Bb messed with the progrAms ethos last week and the series seems to be back to normal with budget hm,s and boring tasks. Plenty of sausages in there but no sizzle. Coupled with the fact that boots is incredibly biased, it removes viewer perceptions. Emma was brill but she has nosedived lately. Bbbots are promoting Lauren and bb will wist it to get her into the final as she is the perfect maleable puppet.

For once i agree with BOTS. Lauren is great. I love her! :love:

I am getting sick of Lauren being pushed at us night after night for sure.

It is a slow starter as a series though,I have to agree with the op, it is lacking something,so far anyway.

I'm finding it really hard going, and find myself getting bored and distracted very easily. I think it's the lack of real celebrities in there. I mean, with the exception of a couple of has-beens, the same bunch of people could easily have gone into the ordinary BB house.

Yes....I fear you are right, another person on a journey,this one to highlight transgender issues to the Public. Unlike the winner of BB (can't remember his name !!!) Lauren is quirky and funny and may win the show because of those qualities.

I do think however that BB will do everything to help her as I suspect she has become their "chosen one" for this series........!!!

BB need to start getting tough with them and make them earn their money.

Totally agree! I'm not watching anymore. And I hope lots of other fans of Big Brother do.
