What incentive is there to stay?

After all they are going to get paid regardless of when they get kicked out...
There is no £100k as a reward to the winner, the money is already in their bank account..

Would you, as an aging celeb, want to stay in such a dysfunctional environment its hardly going to boost your flagging career.
For the younger ones to win there may be a chance of a springboard to further their career but apart from that there is no incentive, apart from losing face and a damaging an ego if you get booted out too early.....

Personally i would take the money, go in there and then stand at the main door knocking on it till they let me out....

If they walk they don't get their fee (or at least most of it) otherwise they'd all walk

Future earning potential is the incentive.

If this leads to a new acting job or more reality tv etc, then the appearance fee for this show could be a starting block. If someone is only in for a week, they are far less likely to be in the public consciousness, than someone who makes the final.

Pride and a longing for public adoration I would imagine. I think most celebs and especially either has beens or wannabes need that approval and exposure and basically just being on TV and in the limelight, why else would they have chosen the career paths they did?

Maybe if they stay long enough they'll convince the public they aren't all *****.

John McCririck is the prime example of how to take the money and then hold up two fingers to the producers AND the public.

They need to give an incentive to stay and perform.

Half the fee upfront and the other half if they get to the final.

The show isn't on for long enough for that.

Its to raise their profile again.

Like normal BB contestants im sure they would take fame over the cash anyday.

If you used your time on the show properly you could make several million pounds from it. However, a lot of them are actually using their time to ruin their careers.

I wish they would implement something like you get X amount of money for going week 1, X for week 2, etc and X for making the final. Would make the housemates more competitive

That's a good idea.
