Over reaction from Charlotte and Mario.

Bruce shouldn't have shouted but for Charlotte to say she's now frightened of him is just pathetic...she never liked Bruce and wants him out and she'll play any card she can to do it.

Pincho Paxton 30-08-2013 09:07 PM

When they said he was angry when hitting himself with a fish was ridiculous, and that was Carol stirring again.

But he was scary when he lost his temper. He scared me.

smeagol 30-08-2013 09:08 PM

she just fancies bruce and wants to give him a golden shower

Bruce was obviously acting with that fish, and Lauren would test the patience of a saint.

If he had stormed past me like he did I would find it quite scary and intimidating too.

Vanessa 30-08-2013 09:31 PM

I found him intimidating as well.

reece(: 30-08-2013 09:32 PM

Because he flipped the lid so quickly, like Jekyll and Hyde. Hopefully he's gone come Wednesday!!

Charlotte never liked him, because he didn't talk much to the silly little chav on opening night, that girl is an attention seeker.

MeMyselfAndI 30-08-2013 09:34 PM

He was intimidating, he did that for practically no reason.

You are outnumbered, lots of people were scared.

Because they are lining him up for their next nomination...being outnumbered doesn't make me wrong.

MrWong 30-08-2013 09:35 PM

He looked like this >

Aggressive twat.

What does that even matter?

His actions were quite aggressive and she found it scary, who are you to say she didn't genuinely feel intimidated?

It makes you wrong in a thread called 'Over reaction.'

Dionkan 30-08-2013 11:02 PM

She over reacted, she knows that Bruce isn't to enamoured with her, so she's planting the seeds for him to be nominated.

Vanessa 30-08-2013 11:03 PM

He deserves to be up. He's a twat! :nono:

Northern Monkey 31-08-2013 02:20 AM

He was raving abit but he's not scary,He's an old man,I can't imagine him doing much harm.

You're not wrong though Videostar!...It was simply a case of professional reality-show 'stars' doing what they do best....waiting for any opportunity to stir up trouble for their competitors!...Someone like Bruce is obviously out of their depth in such a false environment!...because someone like Bruce doesn't know how to 'play the game'...he thinks that 'really being himself' is what the show is all about!...he doesn't know how to "slime his way through" to the finals like these professional snakes!...because he is just a normal bloke that will show his emotions, and say what he means instead of what 'reality show viewers' want him to say!
In short...Bruce is a genuine person, and that is why it's so easy for the "professional players" to eliminate him from contention! ...it's really pathetic when you think about it...but that is the nature of reality shows! :nono:

Cheers.

Yeah that is fine Lex, but Bruce was quite happy to accept the fee. I really don't understand celebs (because in civilian BB this never happens) who go in and admit they have never watched the show, (clearly Ron was another one as on BOTS last night he didn't really get that the crowd chanting for Lauren might have prompted Sophie to clear the air with her). I think all some of them hear is here is x amount and all you have do do is live in house for 3 weeks. He is not great viewing, he is not a good housemate, he seems extremely emotional (and not in a good way) and he came across as quite aggressive last night, I think now Ron has gone, it is possible he could have a complete meltdown.

'Over reaction' means reacting more than the average person. If the thread has most people saying that they would feel the same, then the thread contains the average, and the average is the same reaction. Therefore 'Over Reaction' is wrong, because the average would react in the same way.

There is no way anyone can argue if the average is that most people would react the same.

There was however an over-reaction to the cod wallop. That was not anger. But the thread was not about the Cod wallop.

Hi Cherie!

Yes Bruce was quite happy to take the money. [hope he got a lot more than is rumoured!]..And why wouldn't he?...after all as he has said himself... he is on his uppers...and any amount that he was offered to enter the house for three weeks would be surely snapped up by him whether he had really studied 'how to play the game' or not!...wouldn't you in his position?
[I think that Ron was just trying to clean up his reputation a little, and imo it was for very different reasons that the two went in there.]
True...he hasn't really done anything yet to be classed as a "good housemate", or particularly good viewing!...But then, not many of them are really, are they?...What more has Abz, Dustin or Mario done for instance??...[well actually, at least Mario is doing a bit of crap-stirring. lol]
..And as for the "emotional side" that seems to be bothering you....is he really the worst on that particular trait in the house?...really?...what about all the tears and tantrums that are being faked by the professional players at opportune moments, designed to pull at our heartstrings and make us think that we should love them!?....At least Bruce is well documented to be suffering from severe clinical depression! [and I suspect, that so does Lauren]
...and I think that as far as "the meltdown" is concerned?....He'll be fine as long as bb doesn't push the booze on him to induce such a thing for sick-entertainment value!...and he does seem to have a good friend in Vicky to keep an eye on him.
...And lastly, "The aggression" that you and many more have commented on....Well all I can say about that is that you've obviously never been to my house and seen how I shout at my own kids when they were young and acting silly [and now grandkids/great grandkids lol.]
It only stands to reason to me that the people that are crying "Aggression" at Bruce for losing his temper with Lauren's childish behaviour [and yes!..i'm still a Lauren fan!] are either just not Bruce fans....or have had a very sheltered upbringing!...It was no more than aggressive than any parent would have been toward a naughty child that was keeping them awake through throwing a silly tantrum, in my world!...and before you say it...can you really say that Lauren was, and is more than a "fragile and sensitive little girl" with a straight face??

Well, ..that's how I see it anyway Cherie. ...And if you see it a different way, then that's fine!...but i'm a bit surprised that we're so far apart my friend!...but then...C'est la vie.

Cheers.

daniel-lewis-1985 31-08-2013 10:48 AM

He did go over the top with Lauren.

Storming out of bed like that and screaming was just ****ing weird.
