There is an upside I agree but also a down side.

Those of us who intensely dislike Lauren and are not buying the brainwashing and victim playing she is indulging in (and believe you me there are far more than you might think), will have a lot of trouble trying to evict her. Vote to save could keep her in for most if not all of the show.

Yeah but a lot of you really detest her because she is different and doesn't conform, it's where all bullying at school comes from and where even in adult hood most people join in and conform and together they target anyone who is not conforming. These other things about her putting an act on are just an excuse that lets the real hidden feelings of abuse for her because she is trans or different come out.

I prefer VTE. If it was VTE we could have got rid of creepy Lauren.

it's nothing to do with that. I usually support HMs who don't conform and certainly (as I have mentioned on other threads) support transgender people.

Unfortunately, people will insist on using the victim card in such situations. I dislike Lauren because of her unpleasant manipulative personality. She is a narcissist. Like all narcissists, they are clever at blaming everyone but themselves for what goes wrong in their lives.

I believe in taking responsibility for your actions. I am getting rather tired of the excuses being made for her. There is compassion and there is being conned. In Lauren's case, I believe the latter applies for a lot of the public.

I kind of like how tense and hate-filled it was with VTE. VTS have duller eviction shows.

Such hyperbole all the time... Lauren does have a bit of a martyr attitude, but I don't think she's necessarily intentionally that way, as some seem to think. Generally, most people are not very self aware and we all see things subjectively. So although I do think she was trying to guilt trip Courtney a bit, it's not like it's this huge evil plan to take over the BB house or anything. Besides, I'm not a fan of the fake "let's be BFFs although we've only known eachother 5 mins" nonsense so if Courtney was just running her mouth, she's put herself in that situation and needs to deal with it. Plus, she asked who wanted to go, so fair game for Lauren to say she did.

Ron was in just as much danger either way.

Vte is far better as it allows the public to evict who the want. The programs ethos is built around evictions not saves. Vts is a ch5 money making invention. Vts only panders to the wishes of those that want to keep the arseholes in that ruin the show. Lauren is self fabricated oddball that needs sectioning for her own good.

VTS is great for the show as it keeps all the entertaining housemates in and evicts the very boring ones.

No it doesn't.

Dustin and Abz are in there and will probably make the final because they have done nothing and won't be nominated.

The nominations process is the main problem, not the public voting system.
