Did BB Make Courtney Ill?

She was so ill after eating the cake that she had to take to her bed. Knowing that Courtney is lactose intolerant, did BB allow the cake to be made with butter or allow cream in the filling?

I'm lactose intolerant and I know that butter, cream or any milk products give me a bad stomach. It seems BB were careless in the preparation of Courtney's cake and didn't consult a doctor or dietician.

There does seem to be a lack of care and responsibility during this incident. Why did they not give her something to calm her stomach and, more importantly, why didn't they stop Lauren from putting the pills put in Courtney's mouth?

If they did put dairy in the cake then they were a bit negligent with her food intolerances... My 3 year old is lactose intolerant, and I can say from experience that buttercream icing on cakes is really bad for setting it off. Second only to icecream. She's been up half the night in pain from buttercream cake filling before.

Wouldn't it have been sensible for Courtney to ask and make sure the cake had ingredients in that she was tolerant to? and how could BB have stopped Lauren giving her the tablets, they are not physically there, when they realised they called her straight to the DR.maybe it wasn't the cake, probably down to the booze.

They did, BB responded almost straight away.

The cake could have been lactose free for all we know.
I think it was to do with the amount of pizza she ate as well as the cake.

Lauren shouldn't have any pills. If she needs to take medication it should be in the Diary Room.

Sensible isn't one of Courtney's most obvious traits. Howerver she has been sensible in this instance, she's told them she is lactose intolerant and its their responsibiliy to make sure there are no milk products in anything they give her. Also, when she walked into her party room and saw the cake, she couldn't have a conversation with BB at that point.

BB should have intervened the moment Lauren gave the tablets to Courtney. She could have swallowed them and choked.

Its terrible not being able to eat things like cakes and icecream, especially for a child, but the alternative in a bad stomach.

Its her reaction that suggests Courtney's lactose intolerance had been activated. Cheese in pizza would also do it.

As far as I could tell on the clip, BB could not have acted any faster. It was almost instant.

When i saw the title i was skeptical but after reading,I agree OP.Courtney has given BB her dietry information,They should'nt feed her things that don't agree with her.I have a nut allergy,If BB gave me a Brazil nut cake,I would possibly die in there. That would not be good for BB to have a dier,Even though ratings would probably soooaar.

She was ill cos she can't handle her alcohol!

Shes 19, she has to be 21 to drink in America she probably isn't too used to it.

She was "ill" because she usually eats then throws up her food to stay iron board thin. Since there was no proper privacy in that house she had to fake being ill and wanting to throw up to make it all ok to throw up.
