Harley

My new Guinea Pig <3 Well I've had her for a week and a bit but she's only just gotten used to everything so I couldn't get any pictures before.

Isn't she adorable? Doesn't she want to make you murder yourself because you'll never witness anything as cute again?

Today was the first day she'd stay on my lap without making a desperate flee for freedom <3. Hopefully i'll be able to let her run around before long.

I was going to get two but my cage is too small so I thought I'd just get the one and see how it goes and get another cage and Guinea in time.

Marc 01-09-2013 04:07 PM

Is this the neurotic one?

I'm not sure how big it is, it's more then enough for one but it would be cruel to put two guinea pigs in there.

They're pretty easy to look after although they are pretty skittish.

I was planning on getting a male one and calling it Tarquin but I don't think they had any or they was hiding away and I didn't want to look like a dick by poiting at an empty cage and asking for a nonexistent guinea pig.

i tried a Lizard but it never really worked out and it didnt really feel like a pet so i sold it after a year.. should probably wait a while before my next pet but i'd love a Guinea Pig or something

Tom4784 01-09-2013 09:00 PM

Yeah, I'm not a fan of lizards, I quite like Iguanas but I'd never get one I don't think. I prefer small and cuddly animals like Guinea Pigs or Rabbits or Hamsters. They're always easy to look after and you can interact with them more.

AnnieK 01-09-2013 09:03 PM

She's so cute

Bet she's not climbing the curtains like these pesky kittens I've got....

yeah same, had a few hamsters when i was younger so decided on something different but the live feeding and massive stinky ****s just didnt do it for me

No but she has a habit of racing around her cage and scattering her bedding across my floor, I'd be annoyed but then she makes these little squeaky noises and I just die of a cuteness overdose.
