What sort of football fan are you?
 

Do you avidly follow the league table or only catch the odd game here and there?

Love it but not obsessive about following every detail. I follow Liverpool and to a lesser extent West Ham - like most self respecting top lads do, and am totes on the Bundesligawagon this season.

The overgrown boys in the terraces who let a sport bring out hatred in them and the other extreme end of people who are completely allergic to the game to the point of thinking the people that follow it are some sort of lower species or writing it off in some dull "it's just people kicking a ball" fashion are both equally ridiculous.

Yeah, I agree with this. I don't mind people not enjoying football but to dismiss it as 22 men kicking a bit of cow skin and denying its cultural impact is ridiculous. Simply not liking the game and going on to say it's overrated because of that are entirely different things.

I follow the results every week but I'm not really in a position - either geographically or financially - to actually attend games week in, week out.

Never miss a game and go to Stadiums but would not describe myself as a hardcore fan. Football just happens to be my favourite hobby.

An armchair one

There's more options than jumping straight from option 2 to option 3..you can support a team and love football without going to games
