the Ozil and Walcott partnership is going to be unreal

Arsenal are so close to being a trophy winning side. Seems every summer you lack those 1 or 2 players that'd take you to the next level.

thats because we lose them every summer :laugh: this year we've not lost anyone and have added Ozil.. our form at the end of last season was immense, excited about this season now

Ridiculous to think what your team would be now without players departing.

Gotta say that defence looks weak, Sagna's alright at right back, don't know why you didn't go for Jagielka to strengthen the middle of your defence, would you not choose Vermaelen in there? and i don't rate Gibbs that much, QPR bought a better left back then him yesterday.

people seem to forget just how good our defence were at times last season..

we still have the odd bad day but overall they do the job. Koscielny and Per were the best CB partnership at times last season too, Koscielny has become an unreal player for us and i dont agree about you on Gibbs at all.. he has improved massively but i'd agree about Sagna.. he's the weak link. He's done well playing at centre back when he's needed but hes such a liability at right back now. Not sure if i'd include Vermaelen at the moment, on his day definitely but his recent performances haven't been great.

just realised I forgot Rosicky... and now I feel awful because he's been good of late :(
