SOAD or Slipknot?
 

Not that many will have listened to these bands but which out of the two do you prefer?

slipknot

I do like SOAD's experimental style but Slipknot edges it for me. Duality, Psychosocial, Before I Forget. :love:

SOAD have more in their back catalogue/different styles of music

Slipknot are just full on heavy metal still like them though

Yeah, exactly. SOAD's a cross between experimental and metal, while Slipknot is just metal (even if I do prefer them slightly).

SOAD. Slipknot are great but they have no real experimental side to them.

Neither, to me in they exist within the same group as Linkin Park in that I liked them when I was 13 but then I looked back and realised how ****ty and painfully cheesy they all were.

Why? Cos they're so 'edgy' ? 5 years ago maybe

SOAD still probably the only band on my list I wanna see live....also Aeriels :love:

..I was 'brought up' on both of them..as were my neighbours...I much prefer SOAD - Spiders :lovedup:...
