Who should play Patrick Bateman in the American Psycho TV Series?
 

For anyone that hasn't heard, they are making a sequel series that will be aired on FX - http://variety.com/2013/tv/news/fx-d...es-1200606754/ Bateman will be in his 50's and take on a younger protege. Christian Bale obviously won't be back for it because he's way above TV.

So it needs to be someone that can pull off looking in their 50's, is cool, in good shape, and can be creepy and funny at the same time. One man comes to mind.



But no, I'm not too sure. Dominic West maybe, he's 43 but they could make him look older, like in the 2nd and 3rd pics

..l think Kevin Spacey, Sean Penn, Sean Bean, Gary Oldman can all do 'creepy' quite well but I'm not sure if they'll be too old though...

John Sim if they aged him with makeup. He does menacing very well.

simm can't act tho. dunno if that's just cos I always picture him doing his laughably over-acted 'The Master' act from Dr Who

i'd say maybe Eddie Izzard but he's maybe too stocky... but he's definitely 'in shape' :laugh: (and he has form of recent horror TV with Hannibal)

maybe Willem Dafoe, or Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin would be good, he can play dark characters and has done comedy as well, would be an interesting choice.

Willem Dafoe was Kimball in the movie, the detective investigating the case, otherwise he'd be perfect for it.
