Can't play GTA :/

I'm so annoyed. For some reason it keeps on coming up on the Xbox that it's a hard drive problem and then the disc stops working. I think that I should just leave it for a few days.

Did you run the Install disc for it's full go....
I think you need at least 8GB free as well

zakman440 19-09-2013 07:31 AM

I ran the install disc for over an hour and it installed, put in the put in the install disc and I could only play up until the beginning of the second mission. I have a 160GB hard drive.

Zak
I put your text into google
(it keeps on coming up on the Xbox that it's a hard drive problem)
its not good

"GTA 5 is here - but your copy of the game might not be
working for long unless you follow this advice.
As you may know, there is a requirement to play GTA 5
on Xbox 360 that you must install 8GB of data
from the "install" disc.
But don't install the other disc - labelled "Play" - because
that might just screw up your game.
Users have reported dropped frames, bad textures and
other graphical errors if you do."

"Rockstar said that it did not recommend users installing both discs:"

Not speaking for myself as I am still waiting for the postman to deliver my copy, but apparently it's okay if you install the play disc separately onto a 16GB or more USB stick/external hardrive.

I'm going to start just by using the play disc, but might try the other option sometime to see if it looks and runs any better.

Yet...

When it does come it will be modded for years and years ensuring new gameplay over and over. It will be a tired boring game on the xbox within 3 months. Which uses hardware that is already outdated.
