Vote for the worst horror sequels ever made

So every successful horror usually comes with a sequel released only to cash in on its predecessors success.

With so many I have opted for what I think are up there with the worst.

Whats yours?

A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddys Revenge:Seriously this film sucked. The original was ground breaking then we got a Freddy who liked getting inside teenage boys, whipping bare mens arses and visiting gay bars when all the while breaking every rule of the first film. Hes supposed to live in dreams. Its not even a so bad its good type of film.

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer: I know this was the 3rd in the franchise but did anybody know it existed until like me stumbling across it whilst browsing the horror section at HMV in 2007? So the plot: Erm, they didn't really do anything wrong in the first scenes but it goes on to rehash the *we need to keep what we did a secret shindig from the original almost word for word. Then get stalked by a flying demon..HUH? Not only that but the whole way its shot in a Saw, CSI kind of way with the quick cut, flashing editing just made it suck.

Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2: Apparently the original was ground breaking. Lets be honest it was sh!t....Then we got part deux which for some reason I paid to go see. I left the cinema went home at 14 to an empty house on Halloween and went straight to sleep totally fearless.

The Exorcist 2: The Heretic:Richard Burton's overwrought acting, Regan (Linda Blair) suddenly develops a "Spidey Sense." Pseudo-science alarm: A "synchronizer" machine allows people to see others' memories. Linda Blair tapdancing And James Earl Jones dresses as a giant locust need I say more?

The Hills Have Eyes 2: 1985: Just a big big mess. Cant believe Wes Craven even had anything to do with this pile of ****e. It currently has a 0% approval rating on Rottentomatoes.com lol

Any other suggestions please spill your beans :)

Oh there are plenty... Taken 2.. not a horror but my god the acting was scary as hell

Agreed about Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2 but they redeemed themselves with A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3 - Dream Warriors. That is my favourite of all the franchise.

I've never made a horror sequel.

Ooh so A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 is in the lead. Do you think it was due to it being so disappointing compared to the original?

Nightmare On Elm Street 1

Scream 3.

Never really found any of those films scary but they were entertaining except 3.

Out of them The Exorcist 2 is the worst in my view. The others on the list are either not bad or so **** they are funny

Exorcist 2 is not even crap funny, thank god Exorcist 3 was a major improvement.
