EPISODE THREE: THE CHAIN OF (MIS)TRUST

Twelve of you remain. This mission sees a return of a classic, one that has featured in every Mole series thus far.

This mission is entitled "The Chain of (mis)Trust".

Those familiar to the game won't need an explanation, however for those who have never played before, here's how it works:

All twelve players will begin the challenge with 1 point each. The aim of the game is to release everybody from the chain one at a time. A contestant can be released from the chain when all of the other players have donated their point to that player, once a contestant has all of their available points they are released from the chain.

Once a player has been released the points will be reset and everybody begins with 1 point again. You can then begin to start releasing another contestant and continue following this process until everybody has been released.

However there will be an element of trust involved in this game. Once released, a player has an opportunity to claim an exemption. If any player claims this exemption the mission is failed. To claim this exemption the newly released player has until the next person is released to decide (& PM me) once the next person is released however, you can no longer claim the exemption.

To give you all fighting chance, the first THREE players to be released from the chain CANNOT take the exemption. Giving you a chance to take out those who you might not fully trust. Furthermore I will provide you with ONE 'shove' which will allow the group to force a player to donate their point(s), use this power wisely as you will want to use it at the most ideal time.

Before you start this mission I have asked The Mole to NEUTRALISE a player. This player cannot claim the exemption when they are released... this player is

To pass this mission you must all be released from the chain before 8pm Wednesday. Where the results of the mission will be posted and your next quiz will be posted at 9pm.

Right, well we need to think strategically about this. Who cannot be online for long, we need them out first, those of us that can stay up late are best off being here until the end.

ALSO please nobody take the exemption, I know we all want to stay but we need to pass at least one mission soon or we cannot win this game at all.

Firstly who is here now?

Keep me in, I'm very trustworthy and won't take the exemption.

I am here now and I can pretty much be online at any time apart from tomorrow afternoon for a couple of hours, I have uni 1-2 so I'd be gone by about 12/12.30 and back by about 2.30/3pm, so I could go at any time

I know me, Kate, Donovan are usually up late so we should remain in as long as possible.

Josiah and Drew are the least active I believe so would be wise to get them out soonish and anybody who cannot be online for long.

Plus I can stay up all night if needs be.

We need to get Josiah and Cuda out early as they have school, that's my suggestion?

I'm not going to take an exemption so I'll leave whenever you folks see fit

Right I'm going to make an order of who goes out when. It's not set in stone, we can alter it but I suggest we start getting people out from 8PM.

Should we maybe get Josiah and Donovan out in the first three because of the timezone difference, and Cuda as well because he'll have school tomorrow?

Cuda and Drew are online atm, so for now we should keep them in. If they need to go soon we should then get them out.

I need to get out now because I need to do an assessed homework in like a hour or 2

Cuda let us get Josiah out first as you are active for a little bit longer.

NOTE TO ANYONE THINKING OF TAKING THE EXEMPTION:

If we fail this task, the group has very little chance of winning, and by extension, the mole is very likely to win. Taking the exemption would show

a) You are the mole
b) You are attempting to look like the mole for no decent reason, as we'd lose anyway or
c) You haven't thought things through very well
