Laptop touchpad/clickers issue
I know it might be the wrong forum but thought I might as well ask anyway...
my laptop recently won't let me click things. When this happens, I have to use ctrl/alt/tab buttons to operate the laptop, and it's a bit of a nightmare... means I can't do any games, reblog stuff, etc. But sometimes it works. I think I might have a stuck clicker, but usually I have a setting where tapping the touchpad will count as a "left click" too. And this will stop working. How would I go about solving this :suspect: I've tried editing my device settings, resetting them etc. And using the "synaptics touchpad" program to do the same, but it doesn't fix it. |
I tried reading this but got confused at what you were saying but I'll bump this incase somebody online now knows how to help

it's just come back
basically my laptop seems to think i'm holding the right click button down all the time, so whenever i click on anything it opens the drop-down window. |
Maybe your buttons just need a clean, you could have something simple like a crumb wedged underneath that is putting enough pressure on it to make it think you are pressing it.

probably tbh, it's difficult to get anything in there so i'll have to find a needle or something
