Close encounters of the Boys in Blue kind

This thread inspired by Kate's library exploits. Have you ever had any run ins with the law, major or minor? Post your stories here.

I have a couple,I was once on a raucous night out with my friends and I decided to be a bit cocky and make my friends laugh,I asked a policeman if his head reached the top of his helmet, thinking he would laugh, but he tore a strip out of me,my friends were falling about while I was hiding my blushes:blush: and another more serious one was I was at a country and western night and got a bit merry and swiped the singers Stetson, thinking nothing of it I laughed my way home, next day I had a knock at the door and it was the local policeman,I asked him in as we knew him quite well(not because I was a criminal I might add)anyway he asked me if I'de seen the said Stetson,I said no and he started to smile,I had forgotten that I had hung it on the wall like a trophy, and he saw it,he took it off me ,but I could see he thought it amusing, lol

Never really had any problem with the police, closest I came was in Magaluf when I decided it would be a good idea to take a picture of them arresting someone in their typically no nonsense way, next thing I know there was three of them pinning me up against the wall. Got quite lucky in the end cos once they made sure the pic was deleted they calmed down, probably helped that it was a sh*t phone with a really low quality camera, apparently they would normally just smash your phone on the floor according to one of the reps there

Just for silly reasons.. being out when there are other groups of people causing trouble so they tend to do a stop and search on any other groups. I'v matched the description of clothing of someone who smashed a window of a house during a snow day at school so i was stopped and taken home.. i'v never really done anything wrong

Quite a few but I'm not typing them all out on here.

Anyway the most recent, was a couple of years or so ago now, this little ned/chav was walking up and down our street drunk, spray painting all the cars and I went out with my pj's on and started shouting at him and the police came over and told me to tone it down or I was getting lifted.

Cheeky bastards :bored:

Yes when I was like 13. Some crazy woman who used to live 2 door away use to always report me and my friends to the police and say we were damaging her car and stuff and that that she was being terrorised, when we didn't even do anything lmao. Anyway one time the police actually came round and took all of our names but nothing ever happened. Thankfully she moved http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...sicksmilie.gif

My aunt this past month has had problems with the police many times because her neighbour is retarded & most likely dangerous

Been arrested once...when I was 16..

Got taken home once by the police as I was in the back of a transit van on the way home from a club and we were stopped and all kicked out of the bak of the van and they took pity on a few of us and took us back to my mums. She was well impressed.

Had a few parties where the police turned up and once they came to talk to my parents the next day about the dangers of underage drinking....

Those transit vans have a lot to answer for annie:joker: you could get a fair few in them.I remember police being quite willing to take people home then, dont know if they are the same now.

Too many. Used to be stupid and surrounded by the wrong type of people. Fortunately wasn't actually hit with a record I would regret though.

Nowadays it is just being stopped when driving with the usual "we have reports of car robberies in this area, we are just checking these details" aka "you aren't white and therefore look suspicious":idc:

That's not good BL,no need for it,the police these days dont seem as friendly as they used to be.

Shaun 09-10-2013 08:56 PM

Just the other night.

My brother was arrested on suspicion of threatening some kid with a knife... obviously it didn't happen, and they took a bread knife that was in the kitchen sink as evidence :joker: I was the only other person home at the time so it was a bit odd. But I did get to make S&M jokes with the police officer, who btw was a total babe, and we chatted about GTA online and stuff... he was either very casual or knew my brother was innocent

As for me personally, only once - I was assaulted on the high street one time by some total randomer, but it was caught on CCTV. He got a warning  I've given witness statements 2 or 3 times too.

You'll encounter a few cool ones that will joke about and then apologise for the inconvenience tbf....but then you get some twats who make you have to get out when it is freezing cold and they know everything is in check with the papers. Just a shame those ones tend to stick in people's minds than the cool ones.
