How did he get her??? Ffs.. Only reason i can come too is lacey maybe fame hungry. Because I guarantee if Lacey saw James on the high street, she wouldn't think anything of him.. Thoughts?

Cherie 10-10-2013 10:56 AM

looks like just one date for publicity to me.

smudgie 10-10-2013 10:57 AM

Oh dear, I hope his (ex) girlfriend is ok with this.

She is a lovely girl and far better off without him.

I feel sorry for Lacey.

I wonder what their babies would look like

When grown adults are 'moving in the same circles' together they sometimes get on and find they really like each other. Looks don't come into these things unless you're about 14.

Indeed. A lot on here don't seem to get that

Personally for me looks do matter a bit. I mean I couldnt be with someone I considered totally hideous I dont think (mind I wouldnt consider many people to be hideous tbh). But looks come second to personality.

For me looks only really matter before you speak to a person, i've met some of the most beautiful looking women i've ever seen and they're complete arseholes and you instinctively move away from them. On the other hand i've met girls that are pretty much the exact opposite of the standard idea of beautiful looking and have been drawn to their personality.

Its where a lot of youngsters go wrong in my opinion and why you get people on jeremy kyle who have had 6 kids with people they cant stand. They go out to a club have a few drinks see this vision of beauty through beer goggles spend 3 weeks shagging them senseless and then they realise the person is a complete twat.

I know I shouldn't stereotype, but from my experience..the less 'conventionally' attractive a person is, the better their personality is. This maybe comes from how school and such work..if you are goodlooking you tend to have no problem making friends, where as if you arent you have to be more 'bubbly' and such to get friends

I have struck it lucky with Gav tbh. He is gorgeous (sometimes I wish he wasnt, wouldnt have so many women after him then  ) but has a great personality too. **** knows what hes doing with me :D

Yea the bubbly, chubby girl stereotype is quite true I think. I'd take personality over looks every day and twice on Sundays though personally. I am naturally a very sarcastic, cutting person and if someone around me is taking themselves too seriously I tend to cut them down to size quite easily, vain people tend not to like that.:joker:

Aww Vicky! :)

I second your posts and those of Verbal in here. I've had very strong attractions in my life to people who wouldn't be considered conventionally good looking or stand out, which tbh is the majority of the population, I'm happy to be ordinary/average looking myself, I know it's trite and cliched, but I genuinely believe it's what's inside the counts.

Also another cliche - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - is pretty much something I live by. If I get to know someone and am attracted by their personality then I'll find them attractive anyway. A so called 'stunner' or 'hunk' will completely leave me cold if there's no substance. Which there so often isn't cos as Vicky said, they just get by in life on their looks, everything comes easy to those fortunate enough to be 'good looking'.

True story. I remember when I was at college and myself and this other girl both liked the same lad. We all used to socialise together on Friday's at a pub. She was blonde, big blue eyes, very pretty, very girly. She'd get a 10! Lol. I was a 4, 5 on a good hair day ;)

Anyway he asked me to go the pics one night and I swear to God she just could not take it in. She actually asked him why? (She was up herself). His answer was this... Because she's nice. I went out with him for nearly a year. Whenever I despair of the shallowness of people these days (shallowness isn't a word is it??) I think of that and it restores my faith just a little bit.
