Why October?
Why is X factor on in october?
It's a really odd time of year and there's always loads coming down with colds and flu. Would summer Xfactor not be better? |

Yeah it's always been October time
|
Because people stay indoors in the evening this time of year, and BGT just finishes in the summer
|
Its always on at this time of year.
And people coming down with illnesses can lie on the sofa all snug and warm and watch then cant they? plus everyone's out at the weekends in the Summer. |
would probably get half as many viewers.. would rather be outside on a warm summers night than sitting in watching x factor
|
it's still light at 7-8-9pm in the summer so people are out and not in watching TV with the heating on. if you had the cold you'd probably be staying in watching XF..
or what everyone else said before me |
Because people wanna stay in and watch the fun that is Louis Walsh
|
Who would stay in to watch it during Summer when loads of people go abroad or generally just go out alot more?
|
Q4 is the most lucrative and most watched television period of the year for the reasons listed above
Also the thought of X Factor not being the countdown to Christmas is just wrong, if they ever moved it it'd be awful |
Always shmalways... god you're all so vanilla!
Pffft. |
Technically speaking X Factor starts at the end of summer. X factor normally starts in the middle of August. This year is the first time it's started later in the year for a long time.
It's just a very drawn out programme that's all. |
I always use X factor as a countdown to Christmas
