i don't see the problem. it's not actually harming anyone. there are many women and men who are into rape role-play, just like many people are into slavery role play. that's what S/M is. slavery is just as vile as rape, right?
|
Surely incest should be in the family section?

These references are everywhere, parents need to be open and honest with their children and help them to put these things in context, not cower away from it out of embarrassment and bury their heads in the sand. Kids are going to encounter this stuff. If they understand the context (essentially, that some people are into some seriously messed up stuff) then they aren't going to be "damaged" by it, or think it's normal.
People wrap children in cotton wool and as a result they grow up ignorant and blinkered. People shut these "taboo" things away and try to hide the key and, in the process, they MAKE them more alluring to curious teenagers who would otherwise laugh and ignore them. |

The point is, it's just words, why are murder novels allowed then? isn't murder bad too?
South Park recently did an episode about all of the murder mystery TV shows even calling it "murder porn". |
Fgs!!
Don't say as parents we have to allow exposure to sick deviance and fetishism to raise well rounded sexually healthy adults... That is the single most ridiculous thing I have EVER read, and on here that's an achievement. |

The thing is what was people doing searching Daddy into the sites search engine in the first place if they wasn't expecting to find something dirty?
Plus Lostalex is right it's not hurting anyone so those books should not be banned imo. |

All I'm saying is, that you can MAKE these things into unhealthy obsessions specifically by trying to censor them and hide them away, as a lot of parents do, and as people seem to be inclined to let the government do for us now (with net censorship via the ISPs). |

There is a plethora of information now for anyone confused about sexuality, this is not acceptable or excusable by a high street online retailer. |
