What's your fave food from a fish and chip shop?
|
fish and chips
|
Cod and chips.

Battered sausage, chips and gravy http://a.mod-site.net/s/appl.gif
|
Steak and kidney pie, chips, gravy and mushy peas
Do it for £4.50 at the nearest chippy to me, like a quid cheaper than just fish and chips |
2 battered sausages and chips
|
just a normal cod and chips tbh... sometimes a fishcake instead.

Battered sausage, chips and gravy. I like saveloy too but nobody seems to do it up north? Is it just a southern thing? Nobody seems to do gravy down south either?

and I just like ketchup with the chips/sausage  You northerners are weird with gravy
|
Saveloy and curry chips/gravy chips
I go to chicken + chip shops much more, I can get like 6 wings and chips for £2. I only go to the fish and chip shops three times a year or something |

Just a cod...more batter than cod, and really crispy.
|
We rarely have chippy but I always just get chips and gravy...sometimes, if I'm feeling frivolous I'll put ketchup on the gravy....it's the future
|
Kebab wrap with chips and garlic :worship:

Rissole and chips and loads of salt and vinegar

I usually like just regular cod and chips, also I'd drink coke with it. Normally with meals I'd have water, but I think a soft drink tastes better when the inside of your mouth is coated with grease. |
I just get chips with tomato ketchup and vinegar.
|
Chicken spring roll, chips and curry sauce
|
i use to get Curry, Rice and Chips and some kebab meat but i don't really go into the Fish and Chip shop that much anymore since the great Chinese people left and some greeks took over and bloody ruined the place, raised the cans of coke from 70p to 90p and that was the final straw for me

Haddock, Chips and Mushy peas and pattie
Here in Hull we have a thing called a Pattie, which is potato mixed with some herbs and fried in batter. Here's a link to it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattie_(fried_potato_dish) |
