Do you like going to get a haircut?

Do you enjoy getting your hair cut or do you find it a bit of a chore?

Vicky. 14-10-2013 12:05 PM

I think of it as a chore, put it off for ages. But then I always feel good after eventually getting it done

MTVN 14-10-2013 12:06 PM

Bit of both, it is a hassle but don't mind doing it because it needs to be done and always get to hear some good gossip from barber Bob while I'm there

King Gizzard 14-10-2013 12:07 PM

My dad was a barber in the army (not professionally but still good) so just get him to do it when it gets really long. Don't want anything fancy these days

I've been to the hairdressers about twice in my life

AnnieK 14-10-2013 12:13 PM

I hate going....I've known my hairdresser for years but making small talk in the salon is my idea of hell.

Black Dagger 14-10-2013 12:14 PM

I used to cry when I was younger when I got it cut..

It's just effort now, I like having my mid-length hair and getting it cut all the time just depresses me.

Princess 14-10-2013 12:17 PM

I don't hate it but I don't practically enjoy it either, I just find it so awkward and I hate small talk, I only get my hair cut once or twice a year though so it's not too bad.

Jordan. 14-10-2013 12:54 PM

No I find it awkward. Thankfully my mums friend is a hairdresser so I can get it done at home when she comes round.

Josy 14-10-2013 01:00 PM

I love it

Brother Leon 14-10-2013 01:01 PM

It's a good time. Always people I know there and I know all the barbers at the place so we usually all debate over the football or something along those lines. I get it cut fairly regularly otherwise my hair gets really nappy lol.

smudgie 14-10-2013 02:02 PM

I like it.
My hairdresser comes to the house every 5/6 weeks. Had the same one for nearly 18 years. We always have a good gossip and a cuppa.

Niamh. 14-10-2013 02:14 PM

I go to my hair dressers house to get mine done, I find quite relaxing

Withano 14-10-2013 02:20 PM

I cut my hair myself, I drown it in hairspray so nobody will know if it looks **** or not anyway.

this. I love the feeling after it's all done but it's so much effort getting it done.

Thankfully my mother does my hair but it's still a chore.

Same and same.

Harry! 14-10-2013 06:09 PM

My auntie cuts my hair, it can be boring but we have loads to talk about so it isn't that bad.

Shaun 14-10-2013 06:49 PM

My hairdresser is a family friend so yeah, chance to catch up etc. It's usually pretty quick anyway.

Ramsay 14-10-2013 06:51 PM

i dread the awkward conversation/silence

Jake. 14-10-2013 06:52 PM

I don't mind, only takes less than ten minutes away

Kazanne 14-10-2013 06:52 PM

My sister in law is a mobile hairdresser,I don't get it cut often as I like it long, but when it needs a trim ,she does it,and we have a good old chinwag ,so yes I enjoy it when I go,

Marc 14-10-2013 06:55 PM

I love it, makes me feel so comfortable and I get tingly sometimes

Me. I Am Salman 14-10-2013 06:56 PM

Yes my hair needs to be short I go every 4 or so weeks

Verbal 14-10-2013 07:20 PM

I cant stand it. So much so that I bought my own 'clippers' so that I can shave it myself. I don't like doing it though so it usually just grows into a big thick bush and rather than spending 3 hours shaving it I will go to the barbers. I've gone to the same barber since I was about 4 years old and would not go to anyone else. Not because he's particularly good just because I ****ing hate it. When he retires, it will take a lot for me to walk into another barbers/hairdressers and I would only go there when I started to resemble cousin IT.
