not related but kinda related I watched James Franco's roasting last night and it bordered between being really **** and being hilarious

Smithy 16-10-2013 10:51 PM

sometimes watch the skits

Gonna watch when gags hosts in a few weeks :amazed:

Shaun 16-10-2013 10:52 PM

Same, I would for sure.

And yep I thought a few of the jokes during the Franco roast were great.

I saw that one too :amazed:

Hopefully Comedy Central picks it up. I hate having to watch things on the net/find download links, can never be bothered

I got excited once because the BBC had a listing for ''Saturday Night Live'' but it turned out to be some silly show from way back when

Jeffrey Ross' roast was my favourite I think Lol

''you played yourselves it was so cool, how do you guys get into character onset? did they pass out smoothies that tasted like judd appatows asshole?''

I love it, i watch it every week. Most of it is pretty lame, but there are always a few really hilarious bits from each show that make it worth watching.

I thought Miley did an awesome job.

Yep, he was getting a lot of stick up until he got to speak.

Also everyone picked on Jonah, he was such an easy target.

I catch it if I have a strong desire to watch.

Like Arcade Fire and Tina Fey being this season's premiere.

Shaun 16-10-2013 11:12 PM

Cecily & Bobby  I miss Fred Armisen and Bill Hader though :(

King Gizzard 16-10-2013 11:14 PM

Never really found Andy Samberg funny

Shaun 16-10-2013 11:15 PM

yeah he's too loud and annoying. The Lonely Island are great though.

james130 16-10-2013 11:35 PM

Used to love it with the older line-up (Mainly Tina Fey)
Now I just download it if there's a host i'm really interested in.
I just never find it that funny anymore.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 16-10-2013 11:38 PM

I would if it was easy access.

BBfanUSA 17-10-2013 04:03 AM

Love the show, The We Did Stop song was hilarious.

Taran Killiam is the star of the show right now (Not that I have a problem with that. He deserves it.)

I haven't seen Weekend Update in a while but Cecily has joined Seth who's leaving midseason to get ready to replace Jimmy Fallon on Late Night, in Turn, Jimmy Fallon, for now, is replacing Jay Leno on the Tonight Show.

The Betty White episode was hilarious.

I'd have to agree with you guys about Samberg but Lonely Island is amazing.

Shaun 17-10-2013 04:17 AM

Taran's great too :worship: and Kate McKinnon and Vanessa Bayer are good too. And Kenan obviously. OK everyone but Aidy.

Verbal 17-10-2013 07:12 AM

Only time i've ever seen it was recently when Miley Cyrus did it, hoping to see some fireworks. Was quite lame to be honest.

I thought Comedy Central showed it.

Shaun 30-10-2013 04:07 AM

edward norton hosted over the weekend :amazed: -is more excited by janelle monae performing tho-

Shaun 03-11-2013 10:49 AM

:joker:

BBfanUSA 03-11-2013 11:23 AM

I didn't see the first skit but I heard it was poking fun at the show's recent problem with it's lack of black women.

went to sleep after the fox parody.

Shaun 08-11-2013 02:09 PM

next week gaga's hosting and doing the music ¬_¬ i'm sure she'll have a brilliant sense of humour as always...

week after is josh hutcherson with HAIM performing

Smithy 17-11-2013 12:10 PM

The ep was a bit hit and miss IMO, though it's catered to the US so obv their humor is different, the Kimye sketch, blockbuster one and the kids talent show >>>

Her performances were great, didn't know that R Kelly looked like that :joker:

Shaun 24-11-2013 10:45 PM

anyone see last night's? GaGa's was pretty good I thought.
