Embarrassing Family Members

Do you have any?

One of my sister's embarrasses me a bit when I go out shopping or for lunch or that with her, she's a really forward person and to people that don't know her it must comes across as her being really cheeky.

You just reminded me actually, one of Stuarts uncles is always embarrassing us if we meet him in a shop he shouts really loudly "Is that you shoplifting again" and other stuff like that and everyone turns and looks.

drunk uncles are the best.

My aunt, she always wants to be the centre of attention and creates awkward conversations in front of my mum.. Maybe she's more annoying than embarrasing

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 25-10-2013 01:35 PM

yup my mum-shouting my name across huge stores to find each other, taking an unnecessary large amount of napkins in mcdonalds just in case she needs to go toilet somewhere outside and there's no toilet paper or the toilet paper is dirty..the list is endless lol

lostalex 25-10-2013 01:37 PM

no but seriously, do you have a relative that talks about IMMIGRATION at the dinner table?

Chuck 25-10-2013 01:42 PM

That's me.

I've no idea, my parents aren't close with any of their siblings so my family's just my parents and my brothers.

Although one time my mum posted a Facebook status saying "wish I was going somewhere hot this year!" and my dad commented on it when he was drunk saying "how about the bedroom ;)" and like a dozen of my friends liked it and my mum was so mortified she deleted my dad as a Facebook friend and he deactivated his account :joker:

Auntie Becca takes that particular prize. She's well into her fifties, she's very loud, dresses far too young, lots of sparkle and glitter, wears a bucket-load of makeup and is a real party animal. She's amusing to watch, so long as you're watching through your fingers.

this made me cringe just reading it

King Gizzard 25-10-2013 05:05 PM

Not really..unless you count people that love to complain at every given opportunity then that's my aunt, she doesn't care, if someones wrong she'll say so, but she's still great

Both my parents are embarrassing. At my school prom my mum thought it was okay to go in the disco section looking for me
