An extra hour!

Verbal 26-10-2013 10:23 AM

So not only will I have to deal with the predicted 80mph winds on Monday morning driving to work, I will have to do it in pitch darkness.

I hate the clocks going back, I just don't see any need for it.
Kids going to school in the dark and coming home in the dark.

Sunday night/Monday morning 2am officially

Verbal 26-10-2013 12:41 PM

MTVN is right and I was wrong. Lighter mornings, darker evenings.

and the days shortening makes them darker, what's your point?

Verbal 26-10-2013 12:43 PM

British Summer Time will officially finish in the early hours of Sunday, October 27, 2013.

Clocks should be put back 60 minutes at 2am as the UK reverts to Greenwich Mean Time.

Well you were talking about kids going to school in the dark and saying there was no need for it - they'd be going in even greater dark if they didn't do it

Jake. 26-10-2013 12:55 PM

Brighter mornings are better for me, what a great idea it is

Kizzy 26-10-2013 01:31 PM

The days are shortening jake so it won't be any brighter, it will still be dark in the morning and at hometime.... but it would be anyway regardless of whether the clocks moved or not so...

mizzy25 26-10-2013 02:26 PM

there supposed to go back 2am sun morning but we always do it before we go to bed on the sat night. Normally I look forward to the extra hour but lately as I seem to be an insomniac im not looking forward to an extra hour @ all as I certainly wont be sleeping.
