The meaning of life : To enjoy the little time you have here, to keep the species alive

Religion (whether you have one or not) : I don't see why people need to follow an organized religion, no one knows if there is a God or not but each to their own I guess. If I had to classify myself as anything, I would say agnostic

Afterlife : I don't think there is one

An Ether/Alternate dimension or universe : I doubt it

Your opinions on whether we have the ability to communicate with the dead : I would say not possible

Evolution : Yes

Fate & Destiny : hhhmm nah

Soul Mates : I believe some people are extremely compatible, that doesn't sound as romantic as soul mates though :laugh:

Bringing back extinct animals : As long as it's not Dinosaurs, have you seen Jurassic Park? :shocked:

I believe in reincarnation,I believe in 'God' ,I believe in karma,I DO believe we all have a soul mate but don't always find them in this life,I believe life is pre -destined and I believe in fate.I believe we get out of life what we put in.

My opinion on bringing back extinct animals is similar, although If it ever became possible to bring back dinosaurs part of me would be curious to see what they looked like in the flesh. Just so long as I didn't end up like the lawyer on the crapper :joker:

The meaning of life - We are the vessels of our genes, and the meaning of life in that sense is to pass your genes on.

Religion (whether you have one or not). Antitheist.

Alternate universe - no reason to think so.

Afterlife - Doesn't exist

Your opinions on whether we have the ability to communicate with the dead - We don't, because the dead aren't alive anymore.

Evolution - Well we're here.

Fate & Destiny - Another way of describing hindsight.

Soul Mates - Don't really exist, but some people are perfect together, but most aren't and have to work at it.

Bringing back extinct animals - Depends on why/how it's done.

Interesting. Have you watched a film called Cloud Atlas Kazanne?

It's all about people going through different lives across the ages of time but always meeting the same people again and again. I quite like it.

An Ether/Alternate dimension or universe - I like the idea of this. I remember when I was stoned once discussing the idea of loads of alternate dimensions..everytime we make a decision, a new version of your life appears elsewhere..following that path if that makes sense. So somewhere, there are million of versions of you in different scenarios. Its so unlikely though that its just a nice/interesting thought.

Bringing back extinct animals - I dont think we should mess with stuff like that, even if we could. That said I dont think we should be messing around with cloning and such either. And definitely not AI. I think thats likely to cause the end of our species actually. Kind of like the matrix :laugh:

Yes, but the fct that people can explain away their actions by quoting their religious scripture of t heir religious prophet and people believe them is very very dangerous.

Herman Cain has blamed his sexual harassment charges that derailed his presidential campaign on the devil. It wasnt him feeling up women in his car it was the devil who made him do it. I am not joking. How ridiculous but there are idiots who believe it.

To enjoy it as much as you can and bring joy to all others, other than that I have no idea.

I believe there is something greater than us out there but not sure what.
Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs just don't try and convert me to them.


Afterlife.
Yes, I do believe our souls float around out there somewhere, not so much the angels playing harps on fluffy clouds though.


An Ether/Alternate dimension or universe.
Yes, the Ether that must be where all those souls float about.

For sure, through a genuine medium of course, or even having a visitation yourself .


Evolution.
Yes, of course, we have evidence of this do we not. I do think evolution and otherworldliness can go hand in hand as against one or the other.


Fate & Destiny.
Ah, is it written in the stars...I think our own choices dictate most of our fate and destiny. But not all.


Soul Mates. For sure, but I don't think it is down to one soulmate in the whole world malarkey, more something that grows with time between two compatible people that love each other.

Why bother? Prefer to spend the time and energy saving what we still have.

The meaning of life: is to be happy and cause minimal damage... just coast on through.
Religion: I do believe that whatever there is has been exploited as a business... faith is not a commodity.
Afterlife: you get a few goes to get it right yes I think.
Alternative universe: Hmmm no, not really sold on that there would be too many variables.
Can we communicate with those passed: one day maybe, hopefully.
Evolution: If we get the chance that would be nice.
Fate and destiny: if you will it it will come.
Soul mates: yes totally.
Bring back extinct animals: yes I think if they can extract enough viable DNA they could do this no prob.
