Maidstone prisoners in 'incident'

A number of prisoners are involved in an ongoing incident at Maidstone prison in Kent, the Prison Service has said.

A spokesman said: "National resources have been deployed."

Maidstone is a Category C prison with inmates including sex offenders and foreign nationals with more than 18 months left to serve.
