Suggest songs for Big Band week

Abi : Smile, Nat King Cole
Hannah : Proud Mary, Tina Turner
Tamera : Get happy

Luke Friend : Feeling good, Muse version, Me and Mrs Jones, Moondance by Van Morrison
Nicholas : Mack the knife, Bobby Darin
Sam C : It had to be you, Frank Sinatra

Rough Copy : Dean Martin, Ain't that a kick in the head

Sam B : New York, New York

This theme should suit Nicholas best, but i dread to think which song Louis will give him. :conf2:

I could actually see a good show with those choices Vanessa to be fair.

The songs would test some really hard the only change I would make is I would give Sam C. 'Mack the knife',I think it could really suit his tone and style.

Nicholas is an easy one here, I am sure no matter what he sings all the judges will say he was wonderful and I can already see Abi singing 'Smile'.
'Smile' is a song I really like myself.

I'm sure Luke will pick a great song. He knows his music well and he always gives 110 %. I want to see him wearing a suit. He'd look adorable! :hugesmile:

Ugh big band week

It's a good theme. Anyone with a good voice will be fine. Sam B will be amazing, but i think Sam C will struggle. He isn't a big belter.

Someone suggested "I got my mind set on you", George Harrison. Omg! That would be perfect! :amazed:

I think Abi would suit Nat King Cole as well.

I like the idea of someone singing Hanky Panky for this. Maybe Tamera? :hugesmile:

Hannah could sing Fever, Beyonce'. It would really suit her.

I don't want to hear anyone murdering any Billy Holiday or Ella Fitzerald songs. :nono::joker:

Someone suggested Public Enemy "Don't believe the hype" for Sam. Oh god no! Just no! :eek::nono::bawling:

and there is another reason for hating Big Band Week, Mack the Knife such an awful song.
