Have the Christmas lights switched on in your town today
 

I think mine goes on next week but the mall in Cribbs Callsway are getting switched on tonight (the Saturdays are doing it :amazed: )

Not on my town's tree but there's wreaths and stuff on my streetlights.

Ours is next week and I think ****ing frizzy gog Fiz from Corrie is doing it >:(

I don't even know if my home town makes a big deal out of it, never heard of anyone coming to switch them on, they just tend to go up and come down again without any fuss..

God, no. It's a little early, isn't it? I was in a shop today buying a greetings card, and they were playing Christmas music. The staff had that desperate, glazed look like one of them is going to crack long before Christmas Eve due to an overdose of "Last Christmas" by Wham.

Don't go to the bristol mall I go to the one in Cribbs Callsway that's in bristol have you been there before the mall in town is dead it has hardly any shops

In a week or two I think, never get anyone special turning them on (well unless The Cheeky Girls count).

We have a month long Christmas Sparkle.
Lights normally go on about the same time as my birthday so maybe hubby will oblige and put our outside ones on for me.
Kat Copeland, Olympic Gold rower will be turning ours on this year, alongside a few footballers, the mayor and the lead from Jack and the Beanstalk.

..it's usually 1 December, although the Christmas shopping/late night period is starting in November this year so it'll probably be earlier...
