Its beyond a joke. Young people do have knowledge on songs before their time, even if its just on recognition. Louis needs to stop assuming and making out Nicholas doesnt know the song ffs.

Yeah, it annoys me because most of the acts in the competition were not around for these songs, even Sam bailey wasn't around for a lot of them. And I worry about them if they don't know some of these classics that they are singing.

It actually irritates me, since lots of singers are very young when they start singing and become successful,even moreso now.

I was reading up on singers past and present, 'Lulu' was only 15 when she scored her first hit record 'Sandie Shaw' was only 17 when she was doing songs like 'Always Something there to remind me' and then we had stars like Michael Jackson who started really early too.
It has occurred all through the history of pop music.

16 is in fact an almost average age to be setting out and it shouldn't be such a major issue in my opinion.
I think the judges are being rather silly going on about it so much.
