Paxman didnt vote either-the hypocrite
To hear him sanctimoniously try and devalue Russell brands opinions and actions as irrelevant simply because he didn't vote.....yet paxman the political agent provocateur didn't even bother voting himself
Id say this puts brands efforts onto a higher plain than before.....in fact paxman says he think brands is in fact right in much of his argument and his disillusionment with these idiots who have ruined our country for decades |
Really, is there a quote of him saying this?
I can believe it though, he must have been so sick during that interview no matter how eloquently or emotively Brand expressed his reasoning for the decision Paxman harped back to that. It did seem he was just coached to discredit Brand, no matter how many excellent points he had. |
I thought the point Brand was making was that he's never voted whereas Paxman just didn't vote in 2010.
|
Isn't it Paxman's job to play devils advocate to whomever he interviews? That's not really a new thing.
|
The fact is he didn't, how can he question the despondency of others if he feels the same?
It came across as mocking in parts. |

I observed the interview, and that wasn't the only question on my mind tbh.
