The Voice USA comes up with amazing elimination twist involving Twitter
 

It was announced over the weekend that there will be an added twist to the US version. They will have results as usual but they will reveal the bottom 3 vote getters. Then from there, on the host's cue. The public will tweet #VoiceSave and then the act's name in a 5 minute window. Whoever has the highest total will be saved and the other two acts will be sent home at the close. (The US eliminates acts regardless of teams starting at Top 12, there's a Top 16/20 show to decide who makes it to the Top 12)

A bit unfair to the west coast but cool idea.

That only enhances the teenie voters voice and is not a general consensus at all.

Not really, The US version mainly attracts young adults. If it was teenie boppers then we would have 4 WGWGs coached by Adam winning this show by now.

I think this twist has fallen flat on it's face since the two artists saved so far have gone the next week after.
