It's a sofa in my house. But then I'm very much more well-bred that you lot of plebs, innit.

:joker: we always had a settee here up North on my side of the family.
Our front room was where we had it and then the posh suite was in the parlour.

Hubby however had a large sofa in their sitting room.:joker:

Good job they only had the one room,otherwise I would have had to sit in the drawing room for afternoon tea....what a palava. :laugh:

..I usually say sofa but sometimes say couch..it looks comfy though, anyway...

Couch. Although I sell them at work and they're referred to as sofas there.
