what do make of them? any that your looking forward to ? or liked. or hated

i cant believe how many there are lately. its like trying to spot the original film.
even stuff i thought was original is a remake of some french or japanese movie

titanic 2 could be the Italian shipping disaster with that looney tune at the wheel

don't forget Hamlet 2, repulsed the critics but funnier than the original

hmmm the list sounds pretty grim

they've remade classics since movies began , but some are soooo bad
If its a quality play it can be done, but again the actors and directors do affect quality

ok
1) superman 1- great film...superman 2...v good film 3....not too bad 4. awful
2) oceans eleven- good the remake - fantastic
3) Godfather - awesome Godfather 2- even awesomer
4) twelve angry men-original fantastic remakes very good
5) dumb and dumber - hilarious the sequel appalling
6) meet the parents - very funny the sequels - not too bad
7) star wars original trilogy-legendary the prequel sequels-mediocre
8)silence of the lambs-top quality sequels - decent but ott
9) Heat. The original was the same script same director with no one actors , it was bad. The pacino deniro version was brilliant simply because of the actors
10) Zulu-Best war film ever Zulu dawn-Ill pass

Taxi driver ? absolute classic but how on earth could you sequel that?

I'm pretty anti-sequel/prequel and the Hangover films are a perfect example of why - completely void of real creativity. Sure some franchises like Toy Story are lovely and all but I'd probably prefer two different original films tbh.
