For my 18th I was given a map of the world tea towel with 5 wooden pegs inside with faces drawn on from my nan

My ex Mother in Law gave me a roasting tin one year....:sad:

I wouldn't call any gifts 'pointless' apart from clothes from family who never see you and haven't realised that you've lost/put on weight since you was ten :laugh: and they don't even send the receipt...

For my 18th birthday my boyfriend at the time gave me a necklace with 18 on it :laugh: I put it on that day but I never wore it again after that lol I feel bad now cos he was a nice guy ..........with really terrible taste in jewelry
