TV without outside arial
If you don't have an outside arial to a room can you still use a TV?
Are indoor arials still ok, does it have to be a special one? Thanks :) |

Edit Make sure you point it in the same direction as the majority of Rooftop antennae. |
I have an internal aerial in my playroom, the Tv isn't used much and the playroom is actually a summerhouse in the garden, but it works perfectly
|
Cheers, It's in the kitchen (downstairs) and would be directly under the stairs, will have a go with an indoor one have never managed to get one to work on a digital telly though.

Well... that's better than my original idea of banging a hole in the ceiling to feed the arial in the small bedroom through...
|
That's an option too though.....
It's better than I did...when I moved into this house the aerial was going in the front and I wanted it through the kitchen at the back (as I had cable in the front). So my next door neighbour tied a tennis ball to the aerial and then spent the afternoon hitting it with a golf club to try and hit it over the house.... |

You'de think in this age of technology they could invent a dongle or something similar to put in your TV to pick up all channels, those bloody little indoor ariels are useless.
|
if you have a attic you can use a proper one there that will be just fine . just dont point it towards mordor or you get orc porn channels

I just put a hole in the kitchen ceiling... coz thats how I roll lol!
Will be easier to get an extension, treadle it around the skirting under the landing carpet and the floorboards. Where there's a will there's a way :D |
