The Three Laws of ATMs
 

First law of ATM's: No matter how remote or what time of day an ATM, as you approach it, someone will emerge from nowhere and nip in front

Second law of ATMs: No matter how remote or what time of day as soon as you get to the ATM to do complex banking, a queue of impatient people will emerge behind you making you cut short what you needed to do.

Third law of ATMs: If none of the above happens, the ATM is out of order


Are there any others out there?

No matter what machine you go to they never have any printouts/mini statements available.

people who use them drive me crazy. they are soooo slow and not aware of anyone else behind them and all they are doing is withdrawing.
i go up type in withdraw done. seconds . why people take forever is beyond me

take a long stick with you to poke the slow people lol

When you are in a hurry and just need a quick tenner for something, there is always someone in front taking half an hour using a cashpoint to do some complex banking

I must be behind the times! The only machines I have used just give you cash!

When you just want to take a tenner out and the machine only has £20 notes available.

I do wonder what the **** the people infront of me are doing that seems to take half an hour. Every bloody time :bored: Or they have about 20 accounts to check.

Yeah thats annoying, though its amazing when you find one of those rare cash points which give 5 pound notes

Theres a fiver one right next to where gavins dad lives

I like the ones that give you ****loads of dosh when you line up three 7's

Think ive only seen two, there used to be one on my uni campus that gave out fivers if you got there early enough but that cash point got removed, then theres also one at a tesco near me that sometimes has them

If I had my way the fiver is the only pound note I'd ever use

I went through a phase of being obsessed with fivers when I was about 18. To the point where I wouldnt use a cash machine to withdraw my wages, I would go into the bank and ask them to give me it all in fivers. Bet they ****in loved me :laugh2:

They are very rare, but found one just outside Asda Basildon near the main bus station. Only wanted a fiver that day and the machine obliged :)

I only have one rule.

Avoid them like the plague, I have not a clue how you use them:blush:

I even forget my pin number at the checkout.

..was it because you got more notes and it made you feel like you had loads of money..?...
