What is Luke suppose to do to win people over? He was one of the best in both rounds last night and he still hit the bottom two.

I really don't understand it when Nicholas did some horrific performances last night in particular.

People just have different opinions and different tastes

He's just not popular enough sadly.

Its a shame because for me, he was the best last night by a long shot.

Fanbases are pretty much established in the early days of the show, and luke was the weird one with silly hair who most people (inc me) though shouldn't have got through to lives. He has got better every week, to the point where he is now my fave, but a lot of people are stubborn and stick with their original faves :shrug:

My original fave was Nicholas btw :laugh:

You only have to look at last years final 3 to wonder about the publics taste

Aha, XF usually pick winners who are the vanilla acts eg Sam B, Nicholas (James Arthur winning was an anomaly and miracle.

Sadly Rough Copy had the rebound vote
And Nicholas has the nan vote & the scottish vote despite how bad he was, (The Nan vote being the most powerful vote ever, aka see Christopher Maloney, Joe McElderry)

It was Nicholas' a thousand years audition that won me over.

But since the lives its been the same damn thing every week. No personality shown ever, seems a bit arrogant too tbh.

Luke just crept up on me. I think it was when he did kiss from a rose that I started to take notice, and since then he has got better and better every week.

What is a bloody rebound vote?

When the fans **** themselves over someone being bottom and vote twice as much the next week to stop it happening again...

After hitting the bottom two you get a surge in the votes.

Luke is just a joke act and should think himself lucky for getting this far, but then again look at same difference they came 3rd

I have said all along, Nicholas is a good singer with a good voice,I also believe he still could likely win this series,there is a feel as to the Leon Jackson year for me.

I am stunned and amazed that Luke was in the bottom 2 again,what this means is that he got the least votes out of himself, Rough Copy,Nicholas and Sam Bailey.

It may well be, no matter what he does next week that he could be one to get the least votes then.
It is clear that Sam Bailey and Nicholas have connected well with the mass of the voting viewers and Luke's amazing talent and performances are being missed by them somehow.

However, no one is safe as we keep getting told,voting is really important.
I voted loads for Luke from last night so I don't know what is going wrong as he seems universally liked by most on here and elsewhere too.

Rough Copy hardly sing live & constantly use back up singers for the chorus or pre recorded notes that they can't reach live so that they can run around & bounce on stage, copying Jedward's routines
