I really want Leona to get it; one of the most decent Xmas songs in a long time. I wish the Reunion would give up

can't really say AC/DC is breaking up the same old, same old when it's about 30 years old and is just the latest version of the tedious "bollocks to the x factor!!!!! monopoly pigs!!!!! let's follow a different thing instead!!!"

Kazanne 14-12-2013 04:55 PM

1D but like Leona too

and a major record label reeking the benefits at the same time

supported biffy just on principle that they had their song ruined, but bored of these campaigns now

Christmas is X Factor these days.
It won't last forever though.

An argument that the song is about 30 years old sort of falls down at Christmas time when most of the best songs played on repeat over the radio were all written decades ago. The more people that say bollocks to the x factor the better in my view. I don't watch it, and have no mega issue with it, but it's s**t the way the show monopolises the Christmas number one with vanilla pop dirge.

Some people may like bland Christmas number ones, but I don't. I have loftier aims when it comes to music than the latest x factor star. It's just a personal preference that isn't about following anything.

Eurgh none of them, what a ****ty choice.

Z 14-12-2013 05:18 PM

Don't really care about the X Factor/anti-X Factor circular argument, I just think Leona Lewis is a fantastic singer, has a great original Christmas song and deserves to be #1 over songs that aren't Christmas themed.
