Definitely. It's the first song of theirs I remember the best, it still sounds fresh today although obviously some of the lyrics don't (references to pagers etc) and it's insane how Beyoncé just looks the same fifteen years later :o

I think the 3 DC rejects should form a group called 'Fate' or something.

I know right! I do miss the original destiny's child lineup with four girls

I like Michelle Williams and I think the group benefitted from acting more like a group than just a Beyoncé showcase and giving Kelly a verse so it wasn't completely obvious like it was back with the original line up, but it's a shame for LeToya and LaTavia because they were obviously talented and were screwed over by the family empire that Mathew Knowles was trying to build.

Yes, as we all should. It's sort of good in an ironic way.

Girl is an underrated DC song, it always seems to slip my mind though (so it mustn't be that iconic).

It's one of those songs that you remember every once in a while randomly but you would never list it as one of the greats from DC
