An experiment in Denmark claims to show that Wi-Fi signals are powerful enough to kill cress seeds after just 12 days of exposure [The two Wi-Fi routers emitted about the same type of radiation as an ordinary mobile phone. During the 12 days of the experiment, many of the seeds placed near the routers turned brown and died. ‘This has sparked quite a lively debate in Denmark regarding the potential adverse health-effects from mobile phones and Wi-Fi -equipment,’ Kim Horsevad, biology teacher at Hjallerup School told ABC News.] Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...#ixzz2neqH9DVc Make sure your kids are not near WiFi. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/...20_634x400.jpg Sign Of The Times |
I'm no botanist, but I think I've figured out a way to prevent this.

Surely, if the wireless signals are what are doing and not the router itself (Makes sense),
then there are gonna be very few places in the whole of the UK that aren't covered by some signal... Think this is kinda bull****. |
If you put a plant next to a fire for 12 days I'd imagine it'll be okay
Be alright next to a nuclear reactor too probably |
I've got a massive Christmas cactus on a shelf above my router. It's been there at least three years. It's grown in that time and is currently covered in blooms.

Three years though, less than a meter from the router... and it's thrived. |

Cacti are impervious to WiFi signals 'cos they are really Aliens in disguise waiting for the right moment to take over the Earth. Actually Radio Signals are their main source of sustenance.
