Livia 16-12-2013 10:39 PM

jackc1806 16-12-2013 10:47 PM

Yes she is still doing that Nigellisima show or whatever and she was on James Martins Christmas food program so I guess she will be fine, silly cokehead

joeysteele 16-12-2013 10:53 PM

I find this whole thing a disgrace the way the trial is being reported by the media.

The Sun for instance had the headline at the weekend, 'Nigella gave her children drugs'.
Nigella has already given an account of herself in the trial and that headline was a total disgrace.
It was one of the accused who are on trial for allegedly stealing from her and her husband who said she had done that, it is neither likely truth or proven fact.

I hope Nigella goes from strength to strength in her career and I feel it is shocking that she is the one being plastered all over the front pages and 'not' the 2 miserable people who are the ones actually on trial and the ones 'charged' with offences.

It's OK, if the BBC drop her, Channel 4 will still take her. Remember Richard Bacon? The Blue Peter presenter who was caught doing lines of cocaine out of a hooker's crack (or something like that)? Channel 4 snapped him up!

Besides, she's worth her weight in gold now. She must have... like... the best special brownies recipe ever.

I 100% disagree
she is a cocaine user and is a disgusting example to the kids and viewers
she tried to cover it up and was it her money they were spending or her husbands?
whats also a disgrace is the bias towards nigella by her employers the bbc, who have hopelessly yet again to be objective , which is supposedly what they claim to be...disgraceful organization displaying yet more double standards and no doubt more cover ups again

Livia 16-12-2013 11:03 PM

Once again, Nigella was not on trial. She hasn't been found guilty of anything, the accusations have been made against her by people who are on trial for theft. The BBC would find it hard to get rid of her on the say-so of people accused of stealing from her.

I removed a few posts in here.

Don't accuse other members of trolling for no reason, it's baiting.

Well the Truth this is one of those occasions where you and I will have to unfortunately totally disagree.

As to this issue, Nigella is not on trial, these so called servants are and I hope the right verdict and judgement comes at the end of the trial and that Nigella can get on with her life and career.

This was not the question asked. I think this is a reply deliberately designed to derail the topic.

there is more to this case than that as you surely must be aware....the lies, the cover ups, the kids being involved allegendly, the masses of money? whose money? the husbands? this is a pretty lurid tale. hardly the stuff of a family entertainer paid a fortune by the tax payers

My reply was in answer to you question. She was not on trial. On what grounds would you suggest the BBC try to get rid of her? On the say so of some people accused of stealing from her?

joeysteele 16-12-2013 11:10 PM

I will still watch her no matter what channel she may be on and I would love to be at one of her dinners, she is the best chef on TV for me.

Well she has also admitted taking cocaine under oath, even if it's not to the extent that the defendants have accused her of

people have been sacked before who are not on trial....sullied by the vile crimes and misbehaviours. Heck Russell brand was bombed for a crass joke that backfired
