Louis did say in the final to Sam with effect that 'I hope you win. That will be Christmas No.1.' As for Gary, he did not hate him but was probably annoyed that he would be there in he final 2 when her were more deserving people

I'd rather be in luke shoes than nicholas. Nicholas will be imortalised as the "loser" in Sam's winners video, thr bit they show dermot saying "and the winner of XF is...." cue tense silence "sam bailey!" Cue ticker tape and sam pretending to look shocked.

He got further in the show than he should have anyway, silly boring Scottish dick.

The vote between them was so close. I was expecting a massive gap. :shocked:

The gap was close because Nicholas fan base was huge but defined ie Scottish and grans whereas Luke got more casual voters who may have tuned in for final. If Sam B had been factored out of equation, luke could have won, but glad he didn't as he has more control.

It's funny reading comments in DM, people saying luke should have been in sunday grand final.

I'm glad he wasn't now. He would have got so much the from the press. :joker:

I don't pay much credence to The Daily Fail tbh,come to think of it most of the tabloids print crap.

Gary clearly never liked Nick but couldn't slate him for first month as he was singing in tune , just blandly. However once tptp gave him trickier songs and sabotaged production, Gary was able to stick boot in.

This! And yet Luke remains polite and grateful to Louis and the show. Disappointed in Nicholas. :nono:

Do these people ever learn? slate the show/judges and say bye bye to being signed.... I hate it when people are ungracious, Gary has given him some great comments over the series and all he can focus on is Gary not giving him an ovation, he needs to rein in his ego.

That's why it's better to come 3rd. You can accept there were 2 acts with more votes, you get attention on Xtra Factor, not much sabotaging as production know you're no threat, people saying "X ie Luke should have been in Sundays grand- final" whereas 2nd place ie Nicholas gets less attention it's all about sam and winning, sabotaging, loser appearance in winners video, people saying "lucky to be in final".

Nicholas is quite bitter whereas Luke isn't.
