Barely Nobody Is Posting Here

There's 5 hours apart between posts.

Maybe rebranding is needed, because the title is only relevant for a few months a year.

It needs to reach out more.

It needs more cutting edge debate. A site where you can say the kind of stuff Russell Brand says on his Messiah Tour.

Blow away the curse filter. Why do you have to have it? Russell Brand shows that swear filters don't remove objectionable opinions, because nothing he says is un-pc, yet it falls foul of the profanity censor, time and again.

It would be nice if this site was alive with opinion any time I log in.

do you only search this section or something?

Well I look at latest posts on the right. Am I missing something?
I sense I must be because of your question.
So, put the latest posts on the top, not just the latest post inside a category.

Nemo123 17-12-2013 11:50 PM

There's another site I visit:

Thepropertypin.com

Look at it to see what I mean. (It's an Irish property website).

I can go instantly to that and pick the latest thread

Nemo123 17-12-2013 11:53 PM

It keeps the conversation turning over in the here and now.

Nemo123 17-12-2013 11:56 PM

You know, people don't want to wait for an argument or a discussion, inside a defined rule book. You give free reign to discussion.

Go into the chat and games section I'm sure you will find some threads to entertain you Nemo.

Yes?

I'm sure he will be back online tonight again wondering why no one is posting.

joeysteele 18-12-2013 07:58 AM

It is also the build up to Christmas too, many people are doing other things but will be back in January for CBB and all that goes on next year too.

Are you planning to invest Nemo?

Kyle 18-12-2013 08:28 AM

Tell us something you've bought someone for Christmas and your excited about..

Ignore me posted a new thread in here by accident.

mizzy25 18-12-2013 08:40 AM

I think this is a very busy forum, I like off season as u get to know people without the rush and hustle and bustle of when bb or cbb is on. Threads just get lost when they are on. At least now I can keep up with threads.

I agree it is a good time for that to take place, it is nice to read and learn more about everyone and how they are thinking rather than skipping through threads and posts.

Pete. 18-12-2013 10:39 AM

why don't you keep complaining and contribute to the forum rather than knocking it??? most people enjoy it

T* 18-12-2013 10:53 AM

In my eyes this site is active. You could contribute more instead of making threads like this, and making proper discussion threads like you have done previously.

Nah! It just has a good feature at the top which instantly takes you to the newest post.

(It's called the pin because it's function was to burst the property bubble).

"Barely Nobody" is that Irish for "Hardly anyone"?

It's not a double negative. Like "almost" could be substituted for "barely", like, almost succeeded, and barely succeeded, may have opposite meanings, but if you substitute almost for barely, it's the difference between narrowly failing, and narrowly succeeding. So, if the site is narrowly failing or narrowly succeeding, it conveys almost the same message.

So, "Barely Nobody" equates to "Narrowly succeeding", which is almost the same as almost failing.

fingers 19-12-2013 09:21 PM

Rubbish!

Marsh. 19-12-2013 09:22 PM

In that case it would "barely anyone" not "barely nobody" which makes no sense.

Nemo123 19-12-2013 09:28 PM

If it didn't make any sense you wouldn't be able to understand it.

fingers 19-12-2013 09:29 PM

We make allowances!
