Fazer (NDubz) declared bankrupt

Quote:

Fazer, best known for being part of the group N-Dubz, has been declared bankrupt, according to court records.

Documents show the rapper applied for bankruptcy on 4 December under his real name, Richard Rawson, using an address in north London.

The 26-year-old rose to fame alongside N-Dubz bandmates Costadinos Contostavlos (Dappy) and Tulisa Contostavlos.

He recently took part in the BBC's Urban Proms.

N-Dubz released a greatest hits album in 2011 and have not worked together since, although several reunions have been promised.

Fazer has said that any chance of an N-Dubz reunion depends on the success of his solo album - which has yet to receive a release date.

Meanwhile, Tulisa Contostavlos, who was part of the judging panel on The X Factor until 2012, is to be charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

She will appear in court on Thursday over claims in the Sun on Sunday newspaper that she introduced a journalist to a drug dealer.

Her lawyer has said she will plead not guilty.

Last month Dappy had hospital treatment after falling off a horse and being kicked in the face by the animal.

The rapper, 26, was riding at his home when the horse threw him off its back.

In February, he was given a six-month suspended sentence over assault and affray charges.

He was convicted over a fight at a petrol station in Guildford, Surrey, the previous year.

N-Dubz have had eight songs in the Official Singles Chart.

Their most successful track was the appropriately titled Number 1, which hit the top spot in 2009.

It originally only featured Dappy but Tulisa and Fazer recorded extra vocals so the track could be included on N-Dubz' second album, Against All Odds.
Why him and not the other two dickheads :(

CBB stint upcoming?

Always amazed that popstars go bankrupt, especially those who're more in charge of the writing and production of their material like N-Dubz - just a combination of bad spending/saving habits and living outside of your comfort zone. You could easily buy a nice flat, save the rest and move into a behind the scenes role in the music industry once your 4 year long career is over. Mad that popstars go bankrupt, that's seriously bad.

Dappy is joining him soon anyway. Wouldn't wish Bankruptcy on anyone though even if they are "dickheads". Worst thing they done for themselves was break up. They has the urban pop thing on lockdown. Dappy is much better in his own, but he isn't making anywhere near enough to live the life he tries to.

None of them have the staying power to be solo artists, N-Dubz were barely established in the mainstream market as a group, never mind as solo artists. Tulisa needed the X Factor more than it needed her; they really ought to have regrouped and performed on the show and used it as a platform to relaunch themselves because I just don't see it ever happening for them if they reunite now.

Maybe he was going in all along and the Dappy rumour was lazy stupid journalism.

Hack 1 - I've heard someone from that group NDubz is going in CBB.

Hack 2 - Who's in NDubz?

Hack 1 - That Dappy bloke.

This used to be my favourite group and I supported them from their very first song.

Definitely did with this lot. They've all learned the hard way not to be stupid though, especially with Tulisa facing a potential sentence.

Kind of hoping they'll salvage a comeback from the mess that has been the last couple of years, they're all very talented.

Never have/will like N-Dubz.
Liked some of their singles, but as a group... No thanks.

Liked Dappy's 'Tarzan Part 2'
Fazer's 'Killer'
and Tulisa's 'Visa'
though.

Fazer was the least nobhead-ish tbf, so feel a bit **** for him but oh well. :idc:

Fazer seems like a total wanker as well, he just isn't given as much of a soapbox to preach from as his equally as divvy bandmates.

I used to love ndubz, still listen their stuff time to time. They don't seem to be the nicest of people though.. wonder if he will be in cbb.
