Lee Ryan tweets CBB rumour

He has just put a Daily Mail article link and tweeted it on his official twitter page. Either he is pretending and teasing the people on is twitter, or it's a certainty he is going on?

Lee Ryan ‏@LeeRyanMusic 8m
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...her-house.html … hey, check this out!! )) xxxx

An official confirmation? He quickly denied rumours on Twitter previous years.

Josy 18-12-2013 09:59 PM

Probably attention seeking.

DigitalSid 18-12-2013 10:26 PM

What was the article?

Marsh. 18-12-2013 10:28 PM

He's after attention again.

I posted it. It was about him going for a run to get fitter to get ready for CBB.

King Gizzard 18-12-2013 11:51 PM

If you were going in you wouldn't publicly admit it I don't think

A handful of celebrities have before, and a few regular series HMs too, eg. Hazel and Daley, who already had followings.

sampvt 19-12-2013 08:25 AM

Attention seeking wannabee.

Is he getting fit for the ladies? Will he be hitting out screens in January?

Marsh. 19-12-2013 01:10 PM

Someone can't handle Lee Ryan criticism.

Not doing well lately are they? Resorting to the Big Reunion, still, it gave them an extra 5 minutes.

You're the one under the illusion that they're somehow massive successes when half the band are bankrupt.

So do you not want success.

If he had gone bankrupt what has that got to do with you.

People would laugh at him wether he went to work at ASDA or even if he carried on doing reality tv.

You call it attention seeking I call it trying to earn a living.

You call it desperation I say wanting to be richer and get more opportunities in life is what we all want.

Sadly Blur are not my type of band but if you want to get a good old fashion REAL rock and roll star in there like Ozzy or Beck or Clapton, we would be debating on a different level. Each to their own but this numpty is only going in because he needs the money and thrives on the adoration he might get from the show. Is he a nice guy, maybe, is he a deserved celeb, definitely not. Will he bring anything to the show, probably not as he will start off all smarmy and self absorbed and when he gets grief he will throw his dummy out. Hardly they type that makes the show tick. He is a plastic icon that has self absorbed tendancies which will surely end up sickly and boring.

I have seen him on several occasions on the tv and on every occasion he was so far up his own bottom it was pitiful.

That's what makes good entertainment lol

Ive actually met him back in 2010 and got to dance (badly) with him and Sophie Ellis Bextor (she was slightly up her own arse) on stage and hang out back stage for World Aids Day. He is not up his own arse at all, he was cheeky, funny and never acted like he was up his own arse.

You go from watching a few interviews I go from personal experience.

Everyone has bills to pay and if you're getting tv producers offering you thousands then you would be stupid to turn it down.

Its his job.

Your post admirably describes who and what he is, desperate.

Anyway whats wrong with working in ASDA and earning a living the hard way. Seemingly you subscribe to the easy option just because he once was a part of a semi successful boy band with a few forgettable hits, hardly the mark of someone that commands respect. There are thousands of soldiers and officers that have served under a hail of bullets that are now working at places like ASDA, should we winkle them out and call them loosers or should we applaud them for rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in as opposed to crying about their past and demanding respect for what they once were.

Blur are has beens that didn't look after what they had and now they are suffering and we shouldn't have to be there to pick up their tab by paying them huge sums of money to watch them bleat about how unfair the world has been to them.

Explains why he's turned down offers for CBB before then

Being in a boyband and performing constantly is not an easy job lol

And if you read my post properly you would see that I wasn't having a go at people working at ASDA I just said people would knock him whatever he did. Meaning if he worked in a 9 to 5 after being in a successful boyband you and pretty much everyone else would take the piss and love his fall from grace.

Don't bring war veterans and stuff into this either its a thread about a reality tv show which is far beneath them.

They didn't have a "few forgettable hits they had 3 number 1 albums, 12 top 10 hits, 3 of which went to number 1 and like I said sold 14 million records. You don't get that from not working hard.

Why would you think they "command respect"? what a weird thing to say.

BTW how are "WE" paying huge sums of money to watch Lee Ryan on a tv show lol.

Maybe he didn't need the money back then?

Everyones finances change and we all struggle with cash.

Marsh. 19-12-2013 02:03 PM

Lmao. You missed the point of my post. It goes beyond money, he's fame hungry. That's what I laugh at.

If he was just after the financial security, he would've accepted the last time.

But you carry on ranting away.

Z 19-12-2013 02:03 PM

He's a twerp. A talented twerp, but a twerp all the same.

Its both cash and celeb goes hand in hand.

When will people get over that the people who want to stay succesfull in the entertainment industry are not monsters.

They don't claim to not want fame ffs they know going on CBB isn't exactly good for their rep.

BTW last time he was asked im sure he was doing The Big Reunion.

Marsh. 19-12-2013 02:08 PM

Where did I say anything about them wanting to be successful?

A successful musician/actor whatever it is gets fame and celebrity through their talents.

A fame ***** strives for fame regardless of any talent they may or may not have.

But he is still working using his talents.

They have just finished a headlining tour of China, Germany, Italy and the UK plus the Big Reunion tour and the new Big Reunion Christmas tour all based on talent.

Every celeb wants fame and if you think any different you are very naïve.

Where did I say "celebs" didn't?

I've distinguished between the two types, one I have respect for and the other I don't.

Natalie. 19-12-2013 03:47 PM

I'd like to see him in

James 19-12-2013 05:53 PM

I've delete some of the rude and insulting posts to other members. No need for that.

James 19-12-2013 05:57 PM

Having 'big names' on Celeb Big Brother doesn't make the show any better, unless you're an actual fan of the celebrity and want to see what that person is really like.

All having stars would do is maybe get some extra people to watch, and even that is debatable when you look at the lack of star-power that Strictly and I'm a Celeb had this year, and the ratings those shows got.
