Can't argue with that logic.

Hopefully you chose a Côtes du Rhône Villages AOC OR

a Côte de Beaune

If you didn't, TOUGH!

Z 19-12-2013 06:17 PM

I wish I cared enough to be educated about wine but I just don't

Nemo123 19-12-2013 10:49 PM

It makes you pissed.

And seriously affects your use of the English language. So be warned.

Still sulking because an Irishman has a better grasp of grammar than you?

I have no idea about wine. I don't really drink and when I do it's a bottle of Bud.

Cultured, I am not.

I don't know anything about wine, although I only tried alcohol a few times in August and couldn't really swallow most of it. This is the only one I could drink and I had one glass of it, not sure if it's wine.

It's port, which is fortified wine. Blow your head off if you're not use to drink.

:suspect: I had a glass of it and it was my first time drinking alcohol, but it did nothing to me.

Well it's 19% alcohol by volume, (ABV), which is about 8% more than most wines, and 4 to 5 times stronger than most beers. Depends how big the glass, but it's about half the strength of hard liquor.

 But it tasted so lovely! I tried the port Rosé at first and it was too strong.

I loved sherry when I was a toddler. Use to get off my tits visiting granny every Sunday. Sherry's a lot like port, but sweeter.

Jords 20-12-2013 01:23 AM

Kizzy 20-12-2013 01:44 AM

I was not asking for myself!, its was a general question about members knowledge of wine.

I hope you are the same colour as claret, with shame.

Sorry, I have to disappoint you about the shame bit!

As you can see above, there is no knowledge base to be tapped here.

Kizzy 20-12-2013 10:24 AM

Ahem...
I do know that decanting red wine improves it, but it's down to personal taste isn't it?
Sainsburys champagne is better than moet if that helps?
