Merry xmas or happy holidays which is right
Merry xmas or happy holidays which is right. i ask as i have seen a few arguments about this during xmas amongst people who never argue lol
what do you say? what do you consider to be right |
I dont care either way is good
I don't mind either of those...I have an issue with Happy Christmas as I think it should be Merry Christmas and Happy New Year but I guess that's just me being pedantic.
doesn't really matter, but I always viewed Happy Holidays as including Christmas (and all the run up) and New Years so I usually just say that
Happy xmas
Whatever you feel is right then that's what you say.
Its Merry xmas though if you are wishing happy new year at the same time. As two happys in the same sentence seems daft

Happy holidays is more of an American thing isn't it, tend to hear it more on their films and tv shows
