Good luck and I hope it goes well if you do.

However,I did it once but when I got the goods although the dates were okay, I found when I was in the store,I could find things with better dates on them so didn't do so again.

I like to pick my own shopping anyway really.

They're all the same, the "pickers" just take the first item at the front of the shelf, I've watched them do it. I usually go to the back of the shelf where the longer dates are!

Ammi 27-12-2013 06:34 PM

..that's quite a specific delivery time, Michael..did you order it from Amazon..?..

I like online shopping, not groceries specifically. The beauty of it is you can find anything you need or want online. I buy lots off ebay. Pre-internet I use to get so frustrated trying to buy stuff. I didn't know precisely what it was or where to look for it. I remember back in the 90's getting a London Yellow Pages just so I could look up stuff in England. My shopping is not any longer limited by what the local shop sells, the world is now literally my oyster.

Gstar 27-12-2013 08:23 PM

The only supermarket I can shop online at is Iceland because everything is in packets

smudgie 27-12-2013 08:25 PM

My Tesco's food shop is due between 11and 12 tomorrow.
At least I think it is, hope It is only an hour delivery slot.
They sent me an email with a free deliver slot, seemed rude not to take advantage .

The internet has been life changing. Whether it's knowledge or shopping or conversation on a forum like this. It's a much more joined-up world we all live in. I think it's brilliant, mostly.

I won't be able to sleep tonight now, the excitement is too much

fingers 27-12-2013 08:48 PM

Yeah this is a problem..usually get the bad cuts of meat too.

Its really handy though if its quite hard for you to get out. I do it online when gavs out as its just ridiculous trying to push a buggy and a trolley at the same time

If it is late, they give you a tenner voucher.
Nice if it is only 5 minutes late.
